Plotting a Synthetic Signal
Compare an activated plotting example with a static explanation. This article belongs to the synthetic M7 After inspection collection; its numbers, experiments, and local materials are fictional.
One signal, two representations
The Python example configures the noninteractive Agg backend, draws a small figure in memory, and reports its size. This playground exposes text output, not an inline Matplotlib image; the separate chart provides the visible graph.
<CodePlayground language="python" source="import numpy as np\nimport matplotlib\nmatplotlib.use("Agg")\nfrom matplotlib import pyplot as plt\nx = np.arange(6)\ny = x * x\nfig, ax = plt.subplots()\nax.plot(x, y)\nfig.canvas.draw()\nprint("backend:", matplotlib.get_backend())\nprint("samples:", y.tolist())\nprint("canvas:", fig.canvas.get_width_height())\nplt.close(fig)" />

They exercise different surfaces rather than claiming that a saved chart is the direct graphical output of the playground.
